@containeduniverselow4790 Being raped is a teaching tool, that an all powerful God can’t think of a better way to teach the lesson? No, God doesn’t prevent bad things from happening, he causes them to happen…according to doctrine. After all, he created evil. Spider-man philosophy; If you have the power to stop the bad things from happening, and you don’t… Then those bad things happened because of you. I.e. With great power comes great responsibility. By the way, the God of the Bible made slavery permissible by his own laws. And drowned babies. At least according to doctrine.

@sharoncansler5524 So, you’re saying if someone prays to not be raped, then God will intervene? How do you know she didn’t pray? See, I believe with great power comes great responsibility. If one has the power to stop the bad things from happening, and they don’t…then the bad things happen because of them. If I had the power and opportunity to stop someone from being raped, I would. Which is why I am morally superior to your God. That, and I exist.
