@johnk4291 I’m not siding with thieves. I’m not siding with crime. There are better ways to protect one’s property without breaking the law, committing additional crimes, and murdering people without warrant. You can’t even accurately articulate my position. And yet your position demonstrates hypocrisy.

@johnk4291 Prayer seems to work at about the same rate as chance. So, no…I don’t recommend it being left to chance. It’s common to secure property instead of taking the law into your own hands. Maybe you don’t believe innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. I get why people need to protect their property. I just think there are better ways than your seemingly over eager urge to escalate violence.

@johnk4291 And don’t get me wrong. The thieves are criminals, and if you can record them stealing and process it as evidence, then you should. And they should be held accountable. But the store owner is also putting themselves at risk of violence. It would be better to avoid the violence. Secure the merchandise. Seems better than “shoot everyone your personal bias thinks is guilty.”

@johnk4291 You’re absolutely advocating for violence and killing. At least own up to it. You don’t seem to be able to have honest dialog. You’re moving the goal posts by changing the scenario to a different event. I’m referring to securing property. Securing property doesn’t prevent murder, but it discourages violent outcomes. You’re still arguing for escalating violence.
