@smorris281 If something can’t be explained by science, that wouldn’t mean a god did it. That would fall into a god of the gaps argument. I can respect that other people have different opinions, and I can respect others who hold different opinions, but that doesn’t mean I respect the opinion itself. And many people who consider otherwise are happy to have the opinion that non-believers deserve eternal torment. Is that an opinion worth respecting?

@davidjackson2690 It seems nature demonstrates natural processes, not magical beings. The same goes for DNA, our sun. Atheism isn’t a lie. Perhaps you don’t know what atheism even means? False threats of peril aren’t a concern. They’re based on the same imaginary stories. Every example you offered are the result of natural processes for which we have evidence, and your explanations are post hoc. Any imaginary being could be asserted for the same claims, and it would be just as likely/unlikely. You can only Imagine nature demonstrates a God, you still can’t demonstrate a God.
