@eclectic2327 Your claim that the universe being created is undisputed is false. A blatant lie. How did you rule out natural causes? And when did you receive your Nobel prize?
1
@eclectic2327 So, you’re arguing that a natural cause is a creator?
1
@eclectic2327 I’ve debunked it for you. You’re using a variation of the Kalam. It doesn’t justify the conclusion you’re asserting. It’s like you’re unaware of the arguments against your position.
1
@eclectic2327 Yes, I recommend intellectual honesty, as opposed to lying to yourself. Is your weak argument what convinced your gods exist?
1
@eclectic2327 Grow up, read a book = ad hominem You successfully argued there must have been a cause, and it could have been a natural cause. You’re also, suggesting it necessarily wasn’t a natural cause, but you can’t explain how,you rule out natural causes. Let’s also not forget this argument isn’t why you believe in a god.
1
@eclectic2327 If you’re arguing a god is eternal, but the energy in the cosmos could not have been… It’s considered special pleading. Yes, your arguments are readily debunked. Not only that, but you don’t have evidence to warrant your conclusion.
1
@eclectic2327 Not only have you failed to rule out natural causes, You’ve also failed to address all of the attributes of your god beyond anything more than a natural cause.
1
@onmymind5346 No, I don’t use faith in my life. Faith is the excuse people use when they don’t have evidence. You need to be more honest.
1
@onmymind5346 The scientific theory of evolution is different than abiogenesis. It seems part of your problem is a lack of scientific literacy. It’s not a matter of where a magic sky daddy is “unbelievable”. The problem is that you believe it without warrant.
1
@onmymind5346 Yes, I understand the claims you’re making. I’ve attended Seminary myself. The disconnect here is that you believe these things without warrant. You can’t demonstrate any truth to those claims. Faith is the practice of accepting claims without evidence. This is a problem. Muslims make similar claims about Islam, and they can’t demonstrate any truth to their claims either. Hindus also rely on faith. Do you see how faith falls short? What position cannot be held based on a lack of evidence and by faith alone? It seems any position can be supported by faith, even incorrect conclusions.
1
@onmymind5346 Yes, I’ve attended Seminary. It’s possible I have a better understanding of the Bible, and the history of the Bible better than you do. And your “just a theory” phrase simply demonstrates your lack of scientific literacy. What you “would rather believe” has no bearing on whether those beliefs are true. I would rather believe what can be shown to be true. You would rather believe what you do, regardless of whether or not it is true. Remember, the Bible makes claims for which evidence is needed, but is lacking. In fact, the entire resurrection account from the Bible is a supernatural claim based on hearsay of one individual from thousands of years ago.
1
@eclectic2327 It’s an argument that leads to potentially a natural cause, which you refer to as a creator. Then, you apply attributes to this unknown cause, such as it being a thinking, and loving agent, right? Attributes that are unwarranted. Pay attention. You don’t have evidence. You have a debunked argument. The mind that changes should be your own.
1
@onmymind5346 I don’t put faith in science. Science is demonstrable, based on observable evidence. Faith doesn’t require evidence. It requires nativity. It requires believing in the absence of evidence, or like in your case… When there is evidence to the contrary.
1
@onmymind5346 We are not friends, and I don’t think we could be. Your not honest, as a result of your religion. Yes, science holds tentative positions and self corrects with better information. Your beliefs hold firm despite better information. It seems you don’t even have a basic level of knowledge. Your Bible is proven wrong often. You started with claim there are no contradictions. Why aren’t you conceding that was wrong when I provided a list of contradictions? Is it because you don’t care whether or not your beliefs are true?
1
@onmymind5346 Oh, we have purpose in this world, and hope. My purpose is determined by my own decisions, not by your Imaginary and immoral friend. I don’t use faith, no matter how many times you want to lie to yourself. But clearly, you’re not here to be have honest dialog. Your religious beliefs make you dishonest. What do you know about your Bible? The gospels have anonymous authors. We don’t have original manuscripts. We have hearsay from one zealot making supernatural claims. Like you, convinced without evidence.
1
@onmymind5346 If you were wrong, would want to know? Check out Paulogia, check out PineCreek, check out MythVision.
1
@eclectic2327 How did you rule out natural causes? Do you have any examples of a mind resulting from anything other than a biological brain?
1
@TimberlakeTigerGirl In the old days, fathers literally sold their daughters into marriage. So calm down and read some history.

Religion poisons everything.

@devo2 Clinton didn’t destroy anything. You’ve been radicalized by misinformation. If the National archives knows they have them, and ask for them back, they would comply and return them. They wouldn’t act like children and cry about using jedi powers to,declassify them. Your a koolaid troll. Sober up.
1
@americaisdyingslowly Maybe you program your kid, but this one is smart.
1
Religion Poisons Everything. End Christian Nationalism.

This wasn’t exactly based on a fictitious god though, was it?
