@ella-vm6vf Everything we know through science has a natural explanation, and doesn’t require the supernatural. You can’t demonstrate the supernatural exists through any method known to man. Simply insisting there is a supernatural just because you don’t understand how things work is known as an argument from ignorance. The odds of our existence existing is exactly 1:1 because it does indeed exist. I’d recommend you actually learn what evolution is, and not what your church tells you.

Anyone who believes supernatural claims is wrong.

Hint: it’s fiction.

@cpamfly6858 Hoe do you know what a God wants, thinks, says, or does?

Christian Nationalism is a serious issue in the U.S. Conditioned over a lifetime to accept nonsense, and to do so without evidence, as if it were virtuous to do so. Ask any of them whether we were founded as a Secular nation. They will say no.

Religion poisons everything. Build a wall between Government and Religion.

@methinks5310 Are you unfamiliar with abiogenesis, and the evidence we have that supports it? While abiogenesis is still a hypothesis, do you have a better hypothesis with as much evidence as abiogenesis? No, you don’t. No, evolution doesn’t explain the origins of life. It explains the diversity of life. Origins and diversity are two different things. But the fact that abiogenesis is only a hypothesis, that doesn’t make magic a likely explanation.
1
@methinks5310 It’s obvious you don’t actually understand the science.
1
@methinks5310 Ad hominem attacks don’t make for an argument. And your argument is considered fallacious as it is an argument from ignorance. You don’t understand the science, therefore you reject it. But suggesting abiogenesis has been “disproven” is a blatant lie. Not only that, but you don’t even have a competing hypothesis. Magic isn’t an explanation.
1
@methinks5310 I’ve addressed your questions. And accusing me of making generalizations to make me feel better is an ad hominem attack. It doesn’t address the argument whatsoever. YouTube doesn’t allow, links to be included in posts. But you just admitted you’ve never bothered to look at the scientific evidence for abiogenesis. We certainly have more evidence for abiogenesis than we do for any other hypothesis. And your magic hypothesis doesn’t have evidence.
1
@methinks5310 An argument from ignorance is also fallacious. And you’ve already admitted to it.
1
@methinks5310 Abiogenesis. Go learn science. Real magic is fake. Fake magic is real. Science is our most reliable method for measuring reality.
1
@methinks5310 Right. A dodge. Your lack of understanding science is literally an argument from ignorance. I’ve given you the answer four or five times already. And you continue to double down on your own ignorance of the subject.
1
@methinks5310 How ironic. The problem is, you don’t think.
1
@methinks5310 Offer a competing hypothesis with as much evidence as abiogenesis. Oh, right. You can’t.
1
@methinks5310 Thanks for the concession.
