Comments by "Moon Shoes" (@moonshoes11) on "$2 million historic tabernacle stolen from NYC Catholic church" video.
They don’t have to give it back, they just have to ask their Imaginary friend to forgive them. If children raped by the church can’t get justice, why should we care about some gold?

The church is also criminal.

Remember when God made slavery permissible by law? Totally wicked.

Why does the church have a two million dollar tabernacle?

@mj-rg9kp Exodus 21. Leviticus 25. Do you even read the Bible?

@frankperrella1202 Atheism isn’t communism. Communism isn’t atheism. You’re very confused. Yet still, the Catholic Church is indeed a criminal operation. The church has done more to hurt people than any other organization in history, ever. The worst part is that it is all done in the name of mythological beings.
1
@frankperrella1202 But please, tell me all about why you worship and praise the god of slavery.
1
@frankperrella1202 Hopefully, my last breath will be shared with those in my life I care about, and telling them so. But no, I don’t know any God said anything. And neither do you. You know only what you’ve read in your version of your Bible. You know only what people have made claims of. You can’t demonstrate any of it is true. Muslims and Hindus would disagree with you too. But yes, I’ve attended Seminary. I know the claims. I understand what is taught. I also, understand what isn’t taught. I understand the historicity of the Bible.
1
@frankperrella1202 It’s as if you’ve never had these discussions before.
1
@frankperrella1202 Oh really? The first “church”? What was Judaism? You’re not even aware Christianity took most of it’s myths from previous religions? And why do you accept supernatural claims with no evidence to support such claims?
1
@frankperrella1202 Yes, I’ve heard all that nonsense before. There are problems with your claims. Sure, people, have been converted to many different religions, for many different reasons. Christians are converted to Hindus. Muslims are converted to Christians. Many people deconvert from different religions and no longer believe in gods. The point is, that isn’t evidence. You really don’t know what Jesus said or didn’t say. Nor is it even relevant. It isn’t evidence for the supernatural. Repeating nonsensical supernatural claims about the god your were indoctrinated into believing exists, cannot make the god exist in reality. And you don’t know who wrote the Bible. It wasn’t any one person. It was a collection of books. And the gospels were written anonymously. So, again…I ask why should anyone accept supernatural claims?
1
@frankperrella1202 There isn’t even historical context for Jesus having a tomb. People that died of crucifixion were left to rot on the cross, or dumped into a mass grave. The tomb wasn’t even mentioned in the early gospels, but was made up later on in history. I get it. You believe. You’ve already been convinced. And it is harder to accept you’ve been deceived than it was to to be deceived to begin with. But even historians know you can’t get to supernatural events through historical accounts. Especially those written by zealots.
1
@frankperrella1202 Claiming many miracles were seen by thousands doesn’t make it so. It doesn’t prove the supernatural. Stigmata has been debunked. You have no evidence whatsoever that demonstrates the supernatural is real. You simply repeat what you’ve been told.
1
@frankperrella1202 Be sure to acknowledge points I make, unless you’re dishonest. Like when you suggest people being converted is evidence…. And people have been converted to different religions as well as atheism.
1
@frankperrella1202 That doesn’t mean magic is real. Does it?
1
@frankperrella1202 What is the difference in a miracle and magic, in terms of methodology or process? How do,you determine whether something was a miracle, or just made up? What evidence can you offer that the supernatural is true? None.
1
@frankperrella1202 Doctors don’t need to explain miracles. That would be up to science. And miracles can be explained, just not with magic. Real magic is fake. Fake magic is real. Remember, what you’re doing is trying to shift the burden of proof. If you claim miracles are supernatural, you need to first prove the supernatural. And you can’t. But you can’t prove miracles even occur. It’s just a label people lazily use to feel good about something they don’t understand or made up.
1
@frankperrella1202 I noticed you can’t be honest in our discussion though. What’s the difference between magic and miracles?
1
@frankperrella1202 So, magic has different meanings. One refers to natural illusions. The other refers to supernatural forces? And miracles are supernatural healing events? Is that somewhat accurate? So, let’s set aside magic as in natural illusions, card tricks. I see claims of supernatural events. I don’t see evidence.

All gods are false as far as we know.
1
@mj-rg9kp Why should anyone worship an imaginary god, or the god of slavery?
