@peryole You have the right to be triggered. But would you physically assault someone? Also, if you’re going to dismiss intent, you’re not being reasonable.

@peryole I read them properly. I reject your assertions. The Cop deserves to be persecuted. Full stop. However, since you don’t seem to grasp this, I can elaborate. People have a right to free speech. Don’t blame the victim. Also, the intent for which a word or phrase is used should mean something. That fact that you’re offended by what others don’t find offensive only goes to show that you’re personally offended. And so what? Compared to what the Cop did, it simply isn’t relevant.

@peryole The question I had is whether you’d be so offended that you would in turn physically assault someone for using a phrase you get offended by? Does this phrase trigger you beyond reason?
