@AnarchoPanda-ist9220 Biblical doctrine calls for that which is immoral, such as slavery. In my opinion, slavery falls into the category of evil based on the amount of suffering it creates.

James G Perhaps… But then the god of the Bible made slavery permissible by law… Which puts his claims about love and morality into question. And god created both heaven and hell, a hell which promises eternal suffering for temporal crimes. Which again puts love and morality into question. Biblical claims for how the universe came to be have proven false. Which puts everything you believe into question. Would you be willing to honest discussion about your claims? Because there isn’t reason to accept them as true.

@AnarchoPanda-ist9220 I never asserted bad ideas were solely derived from religion. How obtuse and dishonest believers become when they can’t defend their beliefs. However, it is clear you don’t understand what science is, or how it works. You’re attempting to saddle science with things science simply doesn’t do. Science is a method for measuring reality. But you don’t seem to realize this. If you don’t think religion was decided by and for the interest of wealthy white men, you’re simply dishonest and maybe a touch delusional. Science happens to be our most reliable method for measuring reality, And guess what? You still don’t have evidence to support the claim that any gods exist.

I’d like to challenge your beliefs. What the Bible does is make claims. The Bible isn’t evidence. The Bible makes claims for which evidence is needed, but can’t be offered. You certainly cannot provide evidence that any god created DNA. Race may be a concept created by men, but so,are god concepts, yes?

@jm15xy Yes, Christianity makes a lot of,claims which either cannot be demonstrated to be true, or can be demonstrated to be false. What Christianity doesn’t care about it whether their claims are demonstrably true.

@buffstraw2969 I think Karma Carrie’s with it more than just the concept of action, but that the action impacts more than just the here and now. Perhaps you don’t think of karma this way, so I don’t want to assume. Does karma mean anything other than action? Because you use the word karma, not action. Also, do,your beliefs include reincarnation?
