A believer calling anyone else a moron is very rich. There was a ritual used, described in the Bible, regarding bitter water. It would result in terminating a pregnancy. Endorsed in the Bible. And would it be out of context to suggest, during Noah’s flood as described in the Bible…that there were pregnant women and babies around, who suffered and died? Also, don’t confuse women and children being property, with concern for anything more than just property. See, God made slavery permissible by his own laws. And this included children as well.

It’s pointless to argue whether Jesus was indeed a real, historical person. The end all are the supernatural claims which can never be substantiated.

And when Jesus said he did not come to change the law, but to fulfill it? Nah. Slavery was made permissible by God’s own laws, and the NT never overturned those laws.
