  1.  @Loveandkindness33  The problem with your position is biblical prophecies are lies. Prophecies vague enough to fit whatever narrative you’d like. Most of what the Bible offers isn’t true. Also, you’re using the No True Scotsman fallacy when referring to “true Christians”. I’m not trying to offend, though there is a risk you will be offended. The reality is, you cannot demonstrate any truth claims about your god. The Bible encouraging belief without evidence as virtuous, is problematic. And remember, the biblical god is the God of Slavery.

  3.  @Loveandkindness33  Well, to begin with…historically, the Exodus story isn’t true. So no, no gods freed people from Egypt. But it’s funny you mention Exodus. Exodus 21 lays out the biblical god’s laws permitting owning people as property, as slaves. And beating them. Are you not familiar with what the Bible says? I don’t accept the Bible as an authority. You probably shouldn’t either. The Bible is a book that make a lot of claims. Most of which have been proven false, and others that cannot be proven true.

  9.  @Loveandkindness33  No, I didn’t call your gods a liar. You god would have to exist to be a liar. I said biblical prophecies aren’t true. Things aren’t going to go well for me come judgement day, only if your unwarranted beliefs are true. If I cannot hear god, could your god resolve that? I mean, I don’t know what it would take to convince me any gods exist. But of any gods exist, they should know what it would take to convection me. So, either they don’t want me to be convinced, or they don’t exist. Now, when judgment day comes…who’s fault is it?
