Saying you believe in miracles is the same as believing in magic, and demonstrates further that your world view isn’t based on evidence. Yes, Muslims use faith, Mormons use faith. Faith is the excuse people use when they don’t really have any good reason or,evidence to believe. And yes, I reject the idea of faith because I care whether or not my beliefs are true. So no, I don’t need help,establishing faith. You need help understanding that faith is self deception. The evidence you claim to have doesn’t exist. All you have is hearsay. I’ve spent more time and effort studying this than you have. Out of the two of us, I would guess I’m the only one who attended Seminary. How can you be so foolish as to think I haven’t tried praying? Lol. Seriously.

Faith is intentional self deception. I prefer to hold as many true beliefs and as few false beliefs as possible, You suggest I study scripture with the heart of a child. What you’re suggesting is believing without critical examination. That is clearly what you’re doing, but I am not so easily fooled. I have indeed studied this more than you. Evidence of this is shown when you can’t answer how many first hand claims to witnessing a resurrected Jesus are within the Bible, and when you aren’t aware they authors of the gospels are anonymous, and when you don’t realize we don’t have any original manuscripts for the gospels. John was not a first hand account. Nor do you know who wrote any of the gospels. Another problem you have is whether the disciples could read or write, and what language they spoke. There is only one first hand account to witnessing a resurrected Jesus, and you don’t even know who that was. I’d recommend not building a worldview based on hearsay and supernatural claims. Further, you’ve made some false assumptions about me. You should apologize. I don’t have pain in my heart, and I don’t believe a god that doesn’t exist is responsible for anything. If you can’t even grasp the reality of no god existing, you aren’t in a position to make wild assumptions. Try some honestly.

I am familiar with Wallace, and he makes money selling books to people who aren’t very knowledgeable. I don’t come against you, I came against your false claims. You’re even admitting to accepting hearsay, though you don’t know the difference between first hand and third hand claims. You’re not seeking truth by the way. You only go so far as confirming your bias. You’re simply dishonest. If you understood how the human mind works, you’d already know why your arguments fail. You think you understand my own mind better than I do. But of the two of us, I’m the only one who is being honest. My idea of truth is that which comports with reality. It has nothing to do with anger or misery. But you have to lie to yourself, probably because you are aware your beliefs aren’t warranted, and cannot be justified.

@jesuschristisreturningsoon640 It’s time to update your methodology and based your conclusions on evidence. Off the 500 witnesses you think you have, how many of their names would you know? How many were interviewed? Where did they live? How old were they? Did they all agree? Even the Bible says they didn’t.
