@viralmemes9213 I’ve never experienced drinking battery acid. I can still tell you it would be bad.

@jgdecaro1 Yes, these are claims a book makes. Now, how would you demonstrate any of these claims to be true? Remember, you think God “loves” the world. I see problems with that claim. For one, there is no reason to conclude such a God exists. Second, eternal torment for temporal crimes isn’t loving. It’s unjust and immoral. Maybe you don’t understand what love is. Muslims, Mormons, and Hindus might make similar claims about their gods. They might point to other books.

@jgdecaro1 Let’s see if you can follow a hypothetical scenario. Let’s say a God exists and this God knew before I ever had children that my children would end up in Hell. And this God tells me if I have children, they will end up going to Hell. Then, God gives me the free will to choose whether or not I have any children. If I choose to have children knowing they would eventually be tortured eternally… Would you call this being a loving parent?

@jgdecaro1 God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Or, to phrase it more accurately… God created himself as the son of himself, and sacrificed himself to himself in order to convince himself to forgive us for being exactly as he created us. When he could have just forgiven himself for creating evil to begin with.

@Randy Watson Begin to know what? Could you be more specific? That drinking battery acid is bad?
