@jesussotelo4775 This isn’t evidence for any gods.
14
That’s a poor definition of truth. Truth is when a statement about reality comports with reality.
2
@md.noorulkarim5542 Intuition isn’t reliable. Evidence is reliable. If there is an absence of evidence for the claim, the claim is unreliable.
2
There is no evidence to support the claim that souls exist.
2
@owen3165 Hi, sorry, your post said listen for the message. I was wondering what you meant.
2
This is what I need to know about. I want to experience this, but want to be sure I do it right. Any resources you can recommend for set and setting? Dosage I think I have an understanding of.
2
Faith is believing without evidence, or believing despite evidence to the contrary. Faith has no bearing on truth.
1
@NephilimFree Neither atheism nor science requires faith. You want to say it does…because you KNOW faith is unreliable and useless. Tell me your methods for knowing that a god exists, and how you know what a god wants. Your methods are unreliable
1
@NephilimFree Tell me how any god interacts with people in real life. Give me evidence of this. You can’t.
1
@NephilimFree Nobody asked you to. You cannot demonstrate the existence of any gods, no matter how many words you post. That’s the point. Faith is evidence of things unseen? Faith itself means to believe without evidence. Muslims use faith. Hindus use faith. Christians use faith. And they don’t agree with each other. Is Muslim faith evidence that Allah exists? Is Hindu faith evidence that Vishnu exists? This shows that faith isn’t useful in determining whether your belief is true. It just raises your confidence, even when the belief is false. What religion cannot be justified using faith? Your Bible isn’t an authority on reality, no ,alter how delusional you have become about it. Can you address the failure of believing without evidence?
1
@NephilimFree I doubt very much you could even write an essay on the subject. But you can’t even answer easy questions. I get it. Your beliefs are comfortable to you, and you don’t want to question them. You don’t care whether or not they are even true. That is on you.
1
False. Sounds and gods are fictional.
1
Truth doesn’t need to be passed on, so long as reliable methods are.
1
@billbucktube When people use terminology like “your truth”, I sort of assume whatever they say next will be highly suspect, if not complete nonsense.
1
@UncannyRicardo Hardly objective, eh? So if we wanted to trade, 4 apples for 3 oranges, we couldn’t objectively identify the correct items in the correct numbers? I’m sorry. You’re not serious.
1
@billbucktube In that scenario would it be true that Arthur finished before Bill? We don’t need to know every fact about everything thing in order to make truth claims which can be supported by evidence. And this argument doesn’t mean magic is real or gods exist. It means you’re desperate to defend unwarranted beliefs. Why would Arthur be the loser when Arthur finished first? No wonder you’re confused.
1
Of course not. There is zero empirical evidence.
1
@Tomahawk1999 Which is just an admission you don’t have such evidence, and therefore no reasonable warrant to conclude sounds exist.
1
@docta2985 That isn’t how reality works.
1
@gaminggalaxys4375 Energy exists. Souls do not.
1
@haydenweaver8871 You imagine you do.

Sign me up. Please and thank you.

@owen3165 Message?

No.

Ever heard of the BITE model?
1
@YECBIB Do you not even understand what a question is, or how they work?
1
@YECBIB If you’re YED, you’re definitely impacted by a BITE model. Understanding this may help you to understand reality more accurately. But you’re probably not interested in whether or not the beliefs you hold are actually true.
1
Governments exist.
1
You don’t experience death. You experience dying. Then you don’t experience anything.
1
Don’t those bonds reside in the brain though?
1
Truth is when a stat, ent about reality comports with reality. Science gives us tentatively the best possible understanding based on the available information. Not truth.
