The optimist in me says this is a century long endeavour of humanity adaption to be hyperconnected... societies are often slower than technology itself, but we could potentially get there, it'll only take way more time than people might think. The pessimist in me says this isn't in our nature, we are not prepared to adapt, and the shock of the paradigm shift might kill us all in the process. The realist in me says whether we endure or not this change, one thing is certain: a whole ton of people will lose their lives through the process, it will be extremely shocking, and things will get way worse until it starts getting better, if it gets to that point.
