I don't think it's bad at all or unnatural.... but I can't really judge since I don't speak japanese at all. xD Though to make a basic comparison, I think talking naturally to someone else, talking in front of a camera even in a non-scripted way, talking in a scripted way, and then making direct use of a teleprompter... each one of those have high chances of generating different results. Good point also, the material is also likely to influence how you speak. And that's outside a foreign language... it should happen even in your native language. This happens even if you have formal training in oratory and whatnot, and is not necessarily a bad thing too. You just entered a different "zone".
