  1. Japan is definitely the best place to be if you want to simultaneously feel like you are in the future, and in the distant past at the same time. Sometimes that's an awesome thing, sometimes not so much. xD By the way, the new Tesla truck should've come from a japanese company. :P

The japanese toilets (washlets) are actually an older technology than consumer fax machines. xD No really... they were initially waaay simpler than current models with all the buttons and whatnot, but the first washlet models in Japan started spreading out back in 1980 there. They were initially designed with hospitals in mind. Consumer fax machines started spreading out in 1985 or so... For this case, we are the anachronistic ones. :P
