  1. Question for americans, might sound a bit weird: Do you guys really only have 1 type of bananas in supermarkets? I've heard about this Cavendish apocalipse story before, but it just doesn't connect well for me as a brazilian... most common supermarkets here have 3 to 4 different types of bananas for sale on the regular. One type is mostly eaten fried only, and some open markets will have even more types, but it certainly isn't all dependent on a single variety.
