  1. Censorship and PC/religion discussions aside, imagine what would happen if VidAngel won? This would imediatelly mean that piracy is ok if it has some sort of cause behind it, which is something extremely easy to fabricate. Do they even see what they are doing with the service? Purchasing DVDs never gave the right for someone to digitize and distribute a copy of it, because that basically is the very definition of piracy. Not only they are violating that very basic rule, they are also altering the content without the studio's permission, and then commercializing it for their own profit.
