It's so fucking convenient for these people in power to be against violence when it's directed at them, but completely turn a blind eye when their own actions results in conflict, violence, poverty and misery because they are living in their safe bubbles where reality doesn't matter. It's the story of this entire administration. It's exactly because of fuckers like this guy who cannot see what's happening outside their safe spaces that we end up with wars and blood on the streets.
