Insane that a country like Russia is going the exact way some Russian authors of dystopic novels predicted, or envisioned during the cold war era, plus several British and Americans too, while the entire rest of the world watches paralyzed in horror. We want one-upmanship but in good politics, not dystopic horrors. Accusing friends and family members of being traitors to the regime... holy crap, can it get more literally dystopic than that? Is a guy living in the 21st century still there in Putin, or is it just Stalin reincarnated now?
