  1. That's insane.... I guess nothing like the threat of sanctions on proprietary tech to jumpstart open source architecture/instruction set that had been kinda stagnant for a decade... xD Nevermind wondering whether this will work or not, seems the question now is how Risc V architecture will affect apps and the general upgrade path. We're already at minimum viable computer already, kinda.... I have no illusions Risc V will get to some high end point, but it really doesn't need to. If it can work for small servers and average everyday computing, I imagine it'll have more than reached it's goals and purposes. Thanks for sharing Cris!
