  3. Then again, would those companies and those employees have better outcomes if private equity firms didn’t buy them? Possible alternative is being bought by a competitor who will also fire bunch of existing staff. Or for the company to just go bankrupt and then everyone automatically looses jobs. This video didn’t convince me that private equity firms are the problem.

  7.  @leonardwei3914 , I’m not disputing pros of owning a car. I’m disputing that owning a car is some kind of symbol of freedom as some Americans claim. The real freedom is having an option to drive your car, take public transport or drive a bicycle for example.

Uncertainty principle applies regardless of whether any kind of observation happens or not. 1:20 – quantum theories can be tested experimentally. You absolutely do not need to rely on thought experiments alone. Quantum mechanics is one of the best tested theories out there. You likely have a device in your pocket which works only thanks to quantum effects.

The EFF award is not about finding primes but rather about cooperating to perform a task.
