  6. infinitecanadian So, because there are people who don't realize what the flag represents that must mean it is okay? I am sure there are people in India who still use the swastika blissfully unaware of how it was used by Hitler. Does that make it any less a symbol of hate? Are are you so ignorant of US history that you don't realize that Dukes of Hazzard came YEAS after the flags original use? Why is a Canadian claiming to know better then us our own history, anyway. BTW, South Carolina only started flying the flag during the civil rights movement.

  8. Vierotchka That is my point. It became a symbol of hate.  Just because there are people who still use it the traditional way doesn't change the fact it is now a symbol of hate.
