I support nuclear, but I think some of the arguments here are very bias Blaming Germany's coal consumption on shutting down nuclear is unfair when obviously the disruption of Natural Gas is a main player, and coal use today is below where it was when the (admittedly bad) choice was made. The emissions of 2 natural gas plants, which are going to operate off cycle with renewables, is obviously a very lower level of pollution. The US does have absurd laws that make nuclear more dangerous, and plants shouldn't be storing decades of waste on sight.
