I'm not a huge fan of Solar Energy, but roof based solar is, at least partially, the solution to ACs. That and district heating systems using ocean based cooling

@yonahsefchovich5931 Extreme land usage, toxic materials in production. I like it on roof tops - since the AC is on when the sun shines, and your actually using some of that sunlight that was going to heat your house to cool it - and floating (or otherwise above) canals and reservoirs - to avoid water evaporation, take advantage of lower temperature higher efficiency, and since these usually have transmission lines already in place (think hydro dams). In some cases I support it in a dessert, but that always entails hige transmission systems. But if its paired with some plan to encourage arable land expansion thats cool. Also, one day in orbit it will be great.

@AlessandroRodriguez Not really, you just pump deep sea water and release the warmed water to a middle layer. It actually complements aquaculture quite well.
