@account-369 I wouldn't call the EU an empire in the same sense, but I agree. I'm confused why you're telling OP to cope. The modern Russia to Nazi Germany and modern China to Soviet comparison seems within reason.

@account-369 I may be confused but you look to be arguing against yourself? Germany in the 1930s did invade places with lots of Germans, which is what Russia currently does. The USSR never invaded any country that wasn't part of the former Russian Empire (prior to WW2). As China has in regards to regions its invaded

@account-369 so to the first, I can agree that want you are saying about the EU isn't false, if a thin narrative. To the second, obviously any comparison of history is inaccurate. But the dynamics between current China and Russia are reasonable to compare to 1930s Germany and Soviets, in terms of level of alignment and it's very situational nature.
