@dreddykrugernew I can understand not being convinced that rising temperatures are a threat or worring more about a cooling event. But to any extent that makes you challenge the danger of carbon emissions, I would suggest you think about the impact of increasing Ocean Acidification. I don't think you'll be able to point to a point in time were a mass ocean die off hasn't caused wide scale environmental collapse, and between long term rising ocean temperatures, acidity, (trolling) fishing, and nutrient runoff this is an increasingly real risk. Also, I believe the Persian golf has retreated due to sediment build up the rivers raising the land, not oceans shrinking. Similar to the Adriatic sea.
