I don't understand people that say this. I hate Trudeau for declaring a state of emergency over a protest, but what your answer to every problem now is to destroy people's rights?

@davidg9927 Okay. If you insist on living in a dictatorship, go move to one. Since I don't have a time machine, I'm going to be against the destruction of our rights, even though and especially because they were infringed on.

@Tree74-b3s SNC Lavalin was the stupidest scandal ever. Literally attacking our only international company because it bribed someone in Lybia. French companies used to get tax write offs for that..

I really don't care if SNC Lavalin bought a hooker for some Libyans that was the stupidest case of national outrage to punish our only relevant company on the world stage.

@davidg9927 if you don't want to Government stepping on our rights, why not say "The Government better not pass anti strike legislation". Instead you cheer for it because you're bitter. And you think I'm naive.

@canadiansfor2A I don't believe that's entirely true. I think it's framed in a way that op can use "its a joke" as an excuse. But I think they want the government to react punitively so they can laugh at some other blue collar workers struggling to make ends meet.
