  1. There is a point made about men not being taught to empathize. But I think it's important to see that woman are allowed and even encouraged to publicly admit and act on a generalized fear of men. That isn't an emotion men are allowed to have. It would be an act of hate speech for me to publicly state a generalized fear and avoidance of a group. And I don't say that to shame women or ask permission to do this; but how do you empathize with a feeling you are banned from?
