@palmsofdestin1 that area has so many weather problems, I don't consider it safe for humans. Insurance won't even insure a lot of properties in the region.

@MrPolandball It's not the wood that's the problem. It's the fact that the wood is held together with staples in most of these new home builds. They literally throw them up in a day! If they had used heavy timber held together with lag bolts and if the roof was GLUED down 100% coverage, the roofs wouldn't fly away. Of course the ultimate structure would be cast Titanium 6" thick, but that's unaffordable to us peons.
