The oil industry has no incentive to invest in long-term development of future oil because the governments of the world are pushing a zero carbon emissions law in the next 20 years so that by the year 2040 there will be zero carbon emissions supposedly. Plus the oil companies are not investing and oil supplies will dwindle down 20 by 20 40.
