It also needs to be pointed out that some independent helicopters tried to rescue citizens up in the mountains but were told by police they would be arrested if they attempted such rescues.

@Link380090 the whole situation looks suspect. And today I saw a presentation about patents for weather modification, owned by US gov. According to the patents, they can steer hurricanes and tornados.

@GRACEBIBLEMINISTRIES if you live near the edge of a mountain, you need landslide insurance. I'm on a mountaintop that is bedrock all the way down some 60' below ground level. The danger up so high is lightning strikes.

@TheTravelingChurch Geeze what are they paying the postal workers? $10/hr? I had friends years ago that were on a waiting list to get a postal job. The benefits are supposed to be pretty good, such as retirement. It seems that perhaps the workers are spending their income less than wisely. I manage to live on $12K a year (except property taxes, which I cannot pay) and these people make what, $30K and more?
