Over most of a century of thinking about taxes I've come to the conclusion that government is just the biggest organized crime syndicate with a much better marketing department.

I'm glad he pointed out the parallelism between people losing their homes from natural disasters versus from government tax seizures. This is why I think property taxes need to be abolished immediately.

"Like any other debtor, the federal United States government had to assign collateral and security to their creditors as a condition of the loan. Since the federal United States didn... See Moret have any assets, they assigned the private property of their "economic slaves", the U.S. citizens as collateral against the unpayable federal debt.

First, the use of ad hominem attacks is the tactic of a sub-intellectual. Go back to drinking beer and knocking up hookers, as it seems that's the level you're living on. If you want to go blow up a federal building and call yourself a hero, then go ahead. It was good enough for that Stack fellow, it ought to suit you. As for me, when they come to take my house for back taxes, they'll get what's comin' to 'em.

@GamingExtreme187 It's now 15 minutes.

Since the Federal Reserve was formed, the bankers have managed to transfer 99% of the wealth from the working class to the wealthy Bankers themselves. It is all a scam to steal from the working-class and deposit the value in the Banker's account. They do this through freak Fiat paper currency which has no value and can be printed at will. People are foolish to use paper currency and not demand a solid form of exchange such as gold or gold certificates with a guarantee of gold backing.

Is it any different than property taxes? Really, only in America, can a man earning $7K a year end up with a $100K 'delinquent' tax bill. If you want something to REALLY bitch about, that would be the fact that in America, property ownership is against the law! The Big Lie is that they tell you 'home ownership', but in reality, you're only renting from the King. The fraud is you paid $400K for a piece of paper that is a lie.
1
It's a suicide mission. That's why FEMA has 500,000 plastic coffins stacked up in a yard in GA. They know some of us are going to resist, and they need a place to dispose of our bodies. The "good fight" is local. For me, it will be when they come to evict me from my home of the last 46 years. Retired folk are often unable to keep up with rising teacher's salaries and the attendant taxes. I'll go out with a bang, I assure you.

Why tax if they can print money? ;)
1
@korboismywaifu Not anymore. I had a 12 minute video rejected for being too long and I have a Director account.
1
@basspig They also pledged the unincorporated federal territories, national parks forests, birth certificates, and nonprofit organizations, as collateral against the federal debt. All has already been transferred as payment to the international bankers."

If we're not required to buy services from other Americans, then we wouldn't be required to buy roads, schoolteaching, police, fire services either. As long as the government can tax us, they can require us to have medical insurance, just as they require us to buy police insurance and school insurance (property taxes). These are NOT optional. The real issue is that the government is failing to protect individual rights, it's ONLY moral duty.
1
I bet the government won't lack the resources to harass, arrest, murder and deprive the average citizen of liberty and property without probably cause though.
1
@ElJefer I was asking a sort of rhetorical question in order so that Socialists might think about the answer differently than is customary. The logical corollary is very much the same--you can't have government demanding income FROM you if government is not willing to provide income TO you. ;-)
1
@merchantmareed it is the absolute WORST of all taxes, because it forces slave labor and entry into the Beast System of corporate and federal banking system usage to pay those taxes. For those with no income the homeowner is forced to either go homeless or die in a firefight with cops.
1
One tough question: Do you believe that the government has the right to collect property taxes on primary domiciles? If so, then by correlation, if the government has a 'right' to collect taxes on people's shelters, then by logical extension, does not the home "owner" have a right to a job (so he can pay those taxes that the city has a "right" to collect from him?
1
Just like it didn't go retro-active under Clinton (oh what a protest THAT caused--which went unheeded)?
1
@thunderballacks The problem is, if he gets elected, he will wind up like JFK and all the other presidents who opposed the Fed and the ruling 'mafia' shadow government. Nothing short of a military assassination of at least a dozen people who are behind the fall of America and engineering the destruction of modern civilized society for the sake of sick idealisms of reducing world population to 500,000 people.
1
That's optimistic, and I hope it can be done, but we're in the minority. Over half the nation are stupid people and illegal aliens with voting 'rights'. Frankly, I don't think there'll be a civil war either. The feds will crush any rebellion and make examples out of the first few they catch in the planning stages. Unless we can convince the military brass to turn against this dictatorship, we're heading toward a North Korea-like future in 50 years.
1
The primary issue that matters to me is abolishing property taxes. If Peter supports doing away with that immoral theft of private property, then I support him and will go to the ends of the earth to see that he wins this election.
1
Many people are waking up--that's the only real hope for America--we are starting to hear the term "Who is John Galt" more often than ever. I was familiar with it when I read Atlas Shrugged in 1957, but it seemed like an eternity before others in the mainstream started paying attention to what Ayn Rand was demonstrating through the plot in A.S. Now there is a movie, and part 2 in production. I learned a lot about the IRS and prison system in the 1970s. Read "The Creature from Jekyl Island."
1
@vince33x I believe that if we had a morally just government, many of the 'services' provided by government extortion would be provided on the free market. And the much scaled down government would be financed as it was before taxes were levied in this nation (pre-1863), through bonds, tarriffs on imports. Another acceptable way to pay for government would be some sort of insurance policy that you're free to buy or not. Taxes take power away from people and lead to tyranny.

All I know is that this bubble in the market has caused my property taxes to quadruple in ten years. If the government wants the poor to have housing, then ABOLISH THE PROPERTY TAXES! My home is paid for, yet I receive a property tax bill every year equal to original purchase price of my property, 46 years ago. Wait a minute… if I have to pay the government on a regular basis, then I must not own my home, which I paid for, which is mine, because I’m effectively paying rent to the government.
1
All I want to know is how can a person who earns less than $9,000 annually (before taxes) end up owing the town six figures in back taxes? Something's wrong with this picture. A home is a shelter, not an income production machine that is taxable!
1
One of the Republican primary opponents also hoping to unseat Chris Dodd is Linda McMahon. She is the wife of Vince McMahon of World Wrestling Entertainment. McMahon ntends to spend many millions to gain the Senate seat. This big money scenario is now typical of American political races. Schiff wants to be Senator so he can bring good fiscal management to D.C. The public has heard that before and D.C. isnt interested. McMahon understands reality TV and the American psyche. Good luck, Peter.

160% of my income would go to property taxes. If I didn't buy food & electricity instead.
1
Perfect description of the situation! I could not have said it better myself! On a serious note, these 'children' are in control of our country. They're there because 50% of the public are below average intelligence. Hence, the tragic flaw in Democracy.
1
3:40 The Broken Window Fallacy.
1
What happens if the tax becomes retro-active? Will all the people who refused to buy insurance and refused to pay the tax be eventually forced to pay all the back tax plus interest and penalties? This is Pandora's Box.
1
@BakToTheER Frankly, I am having trouble comprehending the mindset of the Liberals who demand utterly illogical things from society. It's as if they are thinking near-term and not able to see the longterm effects of their ideology. Many intelligent Liberals put forth interesting arguments, but they fail to see that the 'fixes' they have been expounding for the past 80 years are the same ones that caused our problems. Government is made of the same dishonest slobs as the public, only worse.
1
Back when the government had the same musket rifles that the citizens had, it was possible to wage a winnable civil war. Today, the government has all the weaponry to crush ANY rebellion. Civil war would end in resounding defeat of the resistance. Our best option is to wait for the system to collapse under it's own weight. We probably won't make it to 2014 at this rate.
1
@noado51 And Merry Christmas to you and yours!
1
If there is one issue that MUST be addressed, it's PROPERTY TAXES. This is the most IMMORAL tax in existence, as it does not consider the person's ability to pay, it breaks families up, causes homelessness, causes stress, depression and hopelessness for those caught in the spiral. It is a violation of individual rights. The moral purpose of government should be TO PROTECH INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS. Good luck in your run for Senate.
1
I know. I wrote extensively on Feudal Land Title and the property tax. But people need to realize that America was formed as a bulwark against serfdom, and we all need to replace the property tax with rightsized government and less immoral ways to fund it.
1
@vince33x Hey, you're preaching to the choir here.. I am a Barry Goldwater supporter and I stand behind Adam Smith economics, Capitalism, the only system that recognizes individual rights in system where people trade value for value. I was being facitious about the 'right to a job if the government has a right to tax your house'. My intent was to illustrate the absurdity of property taxes.
1
@earlbrown same here.
1
Not in principle. It's still force. Government is violence. Taxation is stealing, whether the fed does it or the local county assessor. Think about it, if we the People wanted all these services, the government wouldn't have to hold a gun to our heads and demand our money. The free market would ensure that people have what THEY need, not what power-lusting beaurocrats want. Taxation violates individual rights. Requiring medical insurance is not the proper purpose of government either.
1
@harveybirdmannequin These were the same events and political actions that preceded Argentina's collapse in 2001. America, if no change in course is affected, is on track for a collassal economic collapse, complete with starvation, martial law, social breakdown, looting and violence in the streets.
1
On some level, I may be subconsciously protesting income taxes, as I seem not be able to earn even a poverty level income. But the problem is that I'm now in debt six figures for back taxes and interest on my home of 46 years. In America, it is a crime to be poor. You are only respected if you pay taxes.
