@DavidSmith-sb2ix Far too many, that's for certain. Electricity doesn't explode and take out a whole city block. When the house in Indianapolis blew up, the explosion destroyed 80 other homes and killed the nearest neighbors. Electricity doesn't do that.

@sammyn9345 All energy production has a big environmental footprint. But that has nothing to do with the danger of certain types of energy in that their ability to destroy entire city blocks is unparalleled.

@MyNextgengamer A gas leak in a building can spell disaster, not only for the occupants, but for the neighborhood as well. When the person who intentionally blew up their house for insurance fraud in Indianapolis in 2011, it killed the neighbors instantly and wrecked 80 homes over several blocks radius. Gasoline doesn't do that, unless it's a tanker truck exploding or a refinery, and that's usually never in a residential area.
