  1. The moment the property tax was introduced, the Homeless Problem began. If people can't own their own homes they will eventually become homeless when the taxes rise beyond their ability to pay.

  2. 60 years ago, when America was culturally pure, we did not have these problems. Children had respect, property taxes were low, and so a single parent could work and the spouse could stay home and raise the children properly. Today we have property taxes of 10000, $20,000 a year for homes of modest-sized here in the Northeast And both parents working sometimes two full-time jobs and some part-time jobs just to pay those taxes. It is a self-fulfilling prophecy that the education system has brought upon itself.

  6.  Antonio Sciorra  Back in my day, if you talked back to a teacher, you got a ruler across your knuckles.. and when your father found out about it, you'd get a beating that night. The next day, you behaved and addressed everyone as "yes sir" and "yes m'am". The other difference is we were all white back then.
