  1. My biggest concern is that one of these vessels might be containing some kind of nuclear weapon. It's the easiest way to get a nuclear weapon into New York city.

  2.  @georgiarasmussen8343  it's not necessary to even bring them on land. A container ship can launch rockets just 12 miles off shore and do high altitude EMP events. That would likely shut down the power grid, especially if they get both coasts.

  3.  @georgiarasmussen8343  They could probably rig a scud missile with a nuke warhead. They would not be able get a vehicle on land without detection. But a rocket launch, we'd have seconds to respond.
