@ArkansasGamer Supposedly HAARP is a major climate effector. A lot of mystery about what the facility is doing, but warming up the stratosphere is one of them. Interesting tidbit I learned recently: primitive nations without electricity use oil lamps. The total carbon emissions from these lamps equals all of the emissions from commercial air travel.

@whwhwhhwhhhwhdldkjdsnsjsks6544 When you figure that there are BILLIONS of these lamps used daily in undeveloped countries, the picture comes into focus. We need to clean up the undeveloped areas, plus China/India, the two filthiest semi industrial nations on earth.

If you think China is 'green', you should see how many people die of respiratory failure there because they are choking on the smoke. Third world nations have to get through their energy adolescence period. That takes Capitalism, which is shunned in poor countries and why they remain poor.,

@Felix-dv9wn we should focus energy on LFTR technology, a safe, non runaway nuclear energy source that does not need tremendous cooling to keep it safe. Strip mining the earth in China for lithium to make electric batteries is not going to scale well to the whole planet. I've never seen Capitalism in the West. We have Fascism here in the US and EU. Closest thing to Capitalism I've seen was a brief period in Hong Kong and Taiwan. I'm talking free market capitalism with NO government intervention. In the US, businesses have a relationship with the regulatory bodies to kill off competition. That's not capitalism. That's an Oligarchy.

The end of the world is nigh but not for the reasons these people think. The Earth's magnetic poles are about to flip and this could happen in the next 10 to 23 years. If the crust slips which is expected to happen in the event we have a solar micro nova, then the entire planet will be washed over by the oceans because the water will stay in one place when the planet slips and turns over on its axis. Billions of people will be instantly wiped off the planet. And there's not a damn thing anybody can do about it.
