  1. Technologically, Bitchute is where Youtube was in March 2006. Fuzzy, blocky, low resolution videos. It has a long ways to go.

  2.  @indilab5881  It's probably running on very limited bandwidth, so everything gets reduced to standard definition. Indeed, things improve, but at the moment, BC is about 13 years behind YT in picture quality.

  3. @Keith Steward I'm hoping it improves. Right now, no support for 4K video and videos rarely play for me. Mostly sit there "loading".

  5. The person who manages to crack multicasting to thousands from a residential connection, will be a rich man. There has GOT to be a way to do this, a new protocol, where the sending stream can be connected to by unlimited viewers.

  6. As with what happened to broadcast airwaves 100 years ago, the internet will soon require an expensive license just to publish. It will be corporate-only in 20 years.

  7. Video quality on the alternatives is poor. Low bandwidth, low resolution. No 4K resolution. Although Youtube is a technology leader, unfortunately, their censorship and copyright policing are over the top now, making the platform useless.
