  2.  @river13  Mom and pop shops will close. Community don’t like that. More companies hire p/t to avoid health benefits. On the news today another Ruby Tuesday, Outback and Macy’s is closing. Cost of living is very high in Hawaii. People have 2 jobs. Some soldiers have a 2nd job too. Now that’s sad.

  3.  @pedalingprospector2007  businesses closing is not a good thing. You don’t want more people to rely on government programs. A active soldier shouldn’t have to get a pt job

  7.  @cbot375  fed min $7.25. State $12. With COL high you need for 1 adult $23 hr. I’m not close to there. State minimum wage plan rate is in place. 2024 $14, 2026 $16, 2028 $18. Tip jobs $11. Hr+tip. Things are about $2-3 more and fast foods serving are smaller. WhopperJr is the size of what kid’s burger was. Small businesses that’s been around for generations closed. More high school students are working. If was my decision at my employment. I wouldn’t hire the immature ones.🤫🙃
