I agree. Parents don’t know what their kids are doing until something happens. No parent think their child would shoot out the school. Both are working. If one parent doesn’t work they still don’t know what the child is doing at school or after school. The child is responsible for his actions. He knows the good and bad behavior. Not getting him a therapist when he asked for help was irresponsible. They shouldn’t be getting 1-15 yrs. Conditional probation for a year. They should see a therapist themselves.
