  2.  @benjamind7639 You can blame Satan Dufus who started a tariff war negotiations in 2018-2019. He didn’t tell you about the retaliation tariffs from other countries. Importers are taxed a higher fee. We import billions and billions of goods and services. The tax increase fees are passed on to us the consumer. Same with exporting, selling less exports due to tariffs. So consumers prices are higher to make up what is loss. This happens right before covid. Coming out of covid, shortages on everything. Greedy Oil tycoons set up prices gauging. Inflation.
