  1. As an individual state, the US is Ukraine's biggest supporter with weapons. Relative to the total US defense budget, however, it is only 5%, as a piece of cake. I am sure that neither Japan, Taiwan nor South Korea really believe in the willingness to help that is still expressed from USA. I suspect that because of Sullivan and his ilk, the world will not become safer in the medium to long term, but that Japan, Taiwan and South Korea will build atomic bombs themselves in the future. The same applies to Ukraine. Conclusion: The lesson from this is that in the future the USA will no longer be believed in any promises. And for that the world will became more and more an unsafe place. Long term strategic thinking seems to became more and more difficult, not only in Germany, Austria or Switzerland, but also in America.
