  29.  @simonkapadia7582  i know how employment works. We can and should change the rules so that MPs have a contract and if they break it they are disciplined, ultimately dismissed for breach or gross misconduct and that would trigger a by-election.

  30. We need a completely new political and governmental system. We need a written constitution, long term infrastructure plans that the party of the day cant alter… like education, healthcare, nuclear power, water, transport etc. The government have way too much discretionary power and few guard rails to stop them abusing it.

  48. Thatcher was in power when I was first able to vote. She started the decline in our services, costs, sustainability and infrastructure with mass privatisation for pure greed and profit. I have seen some pretty poor leadership but never seen anything as apalling as this horrible,grifting, far right, authoritarian, xenophobic, lying, incompetent, arrogant, self centred mob as this tory horror show. What labour can do in 2025 is tax wealthy large companies more, end the Irish tax haven for large US firms like Google, Amazon and Microsoft who hide their revenues there and pay minimal taxes and end non DOM status at a stroke.
