  4. Well said Gary. In the end its all about what sort of country and society we want. We are governed and grifted by a tiny minority of uber wealthy and large corporations and they are all about self interest and enriching themselves at the expense of others.

  6. Musk wants unfettered policy influence and power. In the UK he wants the NHS to be privatised so he can be at the centre of a huge private health and insurance scam like in the USA.

  11. The system has been rigged for the uber rich and so-called « elite » from day dot. Just look at what Thatcher and Major did to the UK…sold off monopoly public assets for shareholder profit. The whole system is about paying the lowest wages possible to benefit shareholders and grifting tory politicians. We need a complete change of system including a proper written constitution to take long term infrastructure out of the hands of short term politics.

I had « trickle down » explained to me once as being like a group of working families work hard and save up for months to go to a nice restaurant and when they get there, the richest family in town is at the top table having a massive banquet that everyone else paid for and are hoping to lick their plates clean when they are done.

  14. They are not just intellectually bankrupt, they are morally bankrupt… and the reality is that we live in an oligarchy and have done for decades. The whole system is set up to give unfair advantages to the uber rich and keep the workers in their place.
