Taxing big US companies that hide their revenues via incorporation in Dublin (Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Starbucks etc ) would raise billions as would taxing big oil firms more, not giving out new oil and gas licences unless we get a profit share (into a sovereign wealth fund), taxing banks more, and getting rid of non DOM and taxing wealthy foreign residents and property owners. There is also self interest in this as if Putin controls Ukraine whats to stop him encroaching further and attacking other countries that border Russia such as the Baltic states like Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia?
