  2.  @kf8575  several reasons: humanitarian for one and ensuring that we help with equipment to help Ukraine defend themselves tohelp bring Putins illegal attack to an end. There is also self interest in this as if Putin controls Ukraine whats to stop him encroaching further and attacking other countries that border Russia such as the Baltic states like Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia?
