  3.  @rider09ninja  tired and falacious old argument. Cars are for transport and not specifically designed to kill and maime. You needa licence and your car has to be registered and insured. Guns shot and killed 45000 Americans last year of which 2300 were children. For you to make an equivalance to road traffic accidents is utterly sick and despicable.

  5. These republicans..anything, any excuse other than addressing the root of the problem: mass gun ownership. The US has 8% of the worlds population and 41% of the guns… 400 million guns for 320 million people. The second ammendment was not designed by the founding fathers for mass private gun ownership. The answer is regulation, permits, gun safes and a massive crack down on gun trading. Lobbying by the gun lobby needs to be outlawed.
