  1. I recently lost both my parents within a few weeks of each other. The hackneyed expressions I hate include "well they had good long lives" . "Is there anything I can do?" (Especially from people who you know wont do anything and you want nothing from them). The first weeks after are just shock and trauma but you keep busy and move forward.
