  1. The observable universe is 13.5 billion years old, our earth is about 4.5 billion. With 100 billion stars and many more planets in our galaxy alone and at least 100 billion visible galaxies it is unlikely we are unique. Why would we be? We could even have been seeded on our planet by other aliens long ago.
