I lived in Crowthorne for over 20 years from late 80s to mid 2000s where Broadmoor hospital is situated and had the misfortune to bump into Savile on a number occasions, usually at the village carnival. He was utterly full of himself, creepy and slimy. He made disgusting inappropriate comments amd always made me feel like he was a disgusting man. The only talent he had was the ability to bluff and had a huge brass neck so everyone let him get away with anything he wanted, no questions asked.
